About Us

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd (IUIH) was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated and integrated approach to the planning, development, and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within Southeast Queensland.

Our Service Development unit is a small but growing team dedicated to shaping and guiding future programs and services to meet the needs of our clients, staff, and community. The team consists of five project managers working together to connect project ideas and lead innovative projects across the IUIH Network.

About the Role

This is a new and exciting role focused on innovation in the digital space, offering a unique opportunity to be part of meaningful change within the community.

The Service Development Project Support Officer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects by supporting various initiatives across the Service Development team. We're looking for an enthusiastic person who is excited to learn new skills and is ready to work in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project documentation (e.g., preparing reports, managing files, ensuring documentation is current).
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource usage.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Identify potential risks or issues and support in developing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and task allocation using digital platforms such as Microsoft Planner and email.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, passion, and a willingness to grow with us. This role suits a person who:

  • Holds a current C Class Driver’s Licence (QLD)
  • Has a current Criminal History Check (or is willing to apply)
  • Possesses a current Working with Children Clearance (QLD Blue Card)
  • Is excited to learn new skills and contribute to innovative digital projects
