About This Opportunity
The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the coordination and/or administration of end-to-end projects of varying size, scale and complexity to ensure the successful delivery of program-specific strategic and/or operational outcomes. The role is responsible for a range of activities including supporting program planning, supporting processes to monitor and evaluate the program, coordinating program deliverables and communication activities, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and other duties as required.
The opportunity would also provide an environment for those aspiring to build on project management experience with the ability to help shape projects at an early stage.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination & Delivery: Support the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation; maintain project artefacts, standard operating procedures, and ensure compliance with methodologies and quality standards.
- Administrative & Documentation Support: Manage a range of administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, coordinating project-related events and committees, and ensuring timely follow-up on actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, maintain strong internal and external relationships, facilitate participation, and ensure accurate and effective communication with diverse audiences.
- Tools, Systems & Technical Support: Utilise project management tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, MS Project), apply Agile and Waterfall knowledge, and support the project team with research, analysis, and budget coordination when required.

About You
- Relevant qualifications in a related discipline with demonstrated experience in project coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience working in project environments, with familiarity in AGILE, PRINCE2, or PMI methodologies considered highly advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience using project tools such as MS Project, Confluence/SharePoint, and Jira.
- Demonstrated experience in providing effective project coordination and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating stakeholder engagements, including planning, communication, and facilitation.
- Strong customer service focus, with effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills to support team operations and project delivery.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, etc.
