About your new role
Leading the Program and Project Delivery stream of the Enterprise Portfolio Office, this position is responsible for leading program and project professionals in delivery of the Strategy, People and Performance Portfolio.
• Lead and mentor a team of Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Officers. in the delivery of programs and projects within the Strategy, People and Performance Portfolio, including Transformation
• Coordinate budget preparation and submissions on behalf of the Program and Project delivery team
• Develop and maintain best-practice methods and standards for program and project delivery
• Ensure the latest developments in Program and Project Management trends and new technologies are identified and assessed, and reports submitted to the manager with practical strategic and tactical recommendations on maximising potential opportunities
• Work closely with senior and executive leadership to understand programmatic and transformational goals to prioritise program and project delivery, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and optimising business value.
• Promote a continuous improvement, innovation-led, and transformational mindset
We're looking for people who have:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project/Program Management or similar or equivalent industry experience
• MBA or equivalent highly desirable
• Min 7 years’ experience managing multiple complex projects and/or programs
• PRINCE2® Practitioner or above or equivalent
• MSP Managing Successful Programs® or equivalent
• Driver Licence Class C unrestricted
