We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our team to success. If

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service

Manage day-to-day store operations, including inventory, merchandising, and cash handling

Drive sales targets and performance KPIs

Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing the sale and care of

industry pet

Handle recruitment, training, and staff development

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Implement promotional strategies and marketing initiatives

Conducting market research to understand customer preferences, trends and demands in the

industry, identifying niche markets and accessing potential growth opportunities

Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, purchasing patterns to optimize stock

levels and manage stock takes

Assess and identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success

Evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with

vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a retail management role (2+ years preferred)

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyse sales reports and make strategic decisions

Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Highly organized with great attention to detail

Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours as needed

Aquatic Ornamental Fish knowledge preferred
