About the role

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to join our lively and vibrant hospitality team at LOCAL BURLEIGH HEADS', a popular modern pub located in the heart of Burleigh Heads, Queensland. As the Venue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and a thriving work environment for our staff.

What you'll be doing

Manage all aspects of the venue's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budget oversight

Provide outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming atmosphere for our guests

Lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff

Implement effective systems and processes to streamline daily operations and maximise efficiency

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Collaborate with the owners to develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience and introduce new initiatives

Strict adherence to wage and goods targets

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Venue Manager or Operations Manager role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders

Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and inventory control

Thorough understanding of liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
