Venue Manager - LMS Brewing

Our site is set to become Brisbane’s premier sports and events venue - a genuine sports bar, brewery, restaurant and massive events space, located directly across from Suncorp Stadium – and we’re looking for an industry champion to help us do it.

You’ll be joining a proudly independent, 100% Aussie owned and made business of entrepreneurs, backed by a gold medal-winning Olympian, on a fast growing and well-established Queensland brand.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager, General Manager, or Senior Hospitality Leader in a high-volume, high-energy venue.
• Proven organisational and financial management skills, with the ability to identify and proactively suggest revenue maximising opportunities.
• A real passion for sports, events and high exposure, a love of big brand functions with sportspeople and celebrities.
• You know how to deliver benchmark guest experiences and have plenty of ideas to bring to the table.
• Strong leadership skills – you’re able to motivate and build a winning team, with a hands-on, people-first attitude - you lead by example
• The ability to thrive under pressure, especially on major event days when the venue is at full capacity.
• You’re a people person – fun, personable, not too serious and ready and willing to be the face of Last Man Standing to everyone from big name CEOs to every day guests.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Team Leadership & Operations Management – Oversee daily operations, drive service excellence and ensure the venue runs smoothly day to day.
• Team Development – Lead, mentor, and inspire passion in a high-performing team that thrives on customer satisfaction.
• Create a positive, happy and vibrant workplace – work with owners to ensure our team feel valued and enjoy being a part of a great team and business.
• Customer Experience – Create unforgettable experiences that keep guests coming back for more.
• Financial Management – Maximise revenue, manage budgets, and optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Compliance & Safety – Ensure the venue operates within all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Events & Promotions – Work with our marketing team to bring fresh, exciting events and activations to life
• Initiative, Ideas & Input – You see opportunities and identify challenges in advance and are ready to bring them to the table – you have a voice!
• Building strong relationships on site - With suppliers, organisations, businesses and community groups to maintain and grow our brand and venue’s profile.
