THE TEAM

As the result of big move coming up, an exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing Venue Manager to join our iPlay Toowoomba Bowl and Arcade venues.

Reporting to the Queensland Regional Manager, the Venue Manager has responsibility for managing the venue, ensure all the equipment and employees do their thing whilst also ensuring reporting, auditing, customer experience, prizes and FUN is happening at all the right times.

The role is responsible to ensure all compliance activities and month end controls are efficiently managed to timelines.

THE PLAYER

What about collaborating with a VIBRANT, EXCITING and ENGAGING team that are specifically there to make sure customers are having as much FUN as possible? Too good to be true… think again!

You will be shadowing the current Manager for a few weeks to oversee all venue operations and learn all roles that the manager undergoes on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis with a strong focus on your local community to actively promote the venue in your local area, liaise with local businesses, community, and sporting groups. You will be a team player with bucketloads of positivity to drive your venue to success, taking your guests experience to the next level!

About You:

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as an assistant manager, working on the day-to-day operations of a business.
• Knowledge and experience of general retail, customer service and the entertainment industry.
• Strong financial understanding in controlling wages, operation costs, stock levels, KPI's.
• Able to prioritize work depending on day-to-day requirements.
• Must be a “people person" who thrives on creating relationships and developing others.
• Able to proactively motivate and encourage your Team to drive sales and take our guests experience to the next level!
• Reliable and proactive work ethic with exceptional attention to detail.
• Flexible availability for shifts during the day, night and weekends.
• Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards.
• Available to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays
• Bowling experience is a plus! Toowoomba has string bowls.
• Very adaptive learner.
