About the role

An opportunity has become available for Full Time Technical Officer within our Core Laboratory at our Adelaide Airport Lab

The position involves working in a fast paced environment and will be suitable for individuals who pride themselves on the level of accuracy in their work and have a strong customer focus. You will work as part of an experienced and dedicated Biochemistry and Haematology team with exposure to a wide diversity of work. The successful applicant will be an experienced Laboratory Technician/Technical Officer with the ability to participate in a 7-day rotating roster that includes night and afternoon shifts.

About you

Candidates must have qualifications relevant to the role

Previous experience in a Clinical Laboratory, operating automated biochemistry / haematology and/or other automated analysers

Good understanding of internal quality control principles and practice

Availability to participate in the rotating roster

Ability to follow documented laboratory procedures

Strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment

An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work

Ability to multitask and successfully work as part of a team
