The Role

We are seeking two proactive and tech-savvy Sales Associates (Sydney and Canberra!) to support our sales team in identifying, engaging, and managing prospective clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have a tech-first approach, leveraging automation, AI, and CRM tools to enhance sales efficiency and drive growth.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and optimise data within our CRM system. If you are passionate about sales, technology, and driving business success through innovative solutions, we encourage you to apply.

This is a full-time, hybrid position. Occasional travel may be required to support sales initiatives and client engagement

The Candidate

As the ideal candidate, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace technology to streamline sales processes. You are a problem solver with strong organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

You will be:

• Proficient in CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred, or equivalent) with experience in data management and reporting.

• Skilled in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance lead generation and sales processes.

• Analytical, with the ability to extract insights from data to inform sales strategies.

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with potential clients and partners.

• Detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within sales platforms.

• Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies and methodologies in sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

Specifically, the role focuses on market, industry and insights research, including and not limited to:

Stakeholder Identification & Engagement

Research and identify key stakeholders across industries who align with event themes and objectives.

• Maintain a database of researched individuals and organisations, noting key achievements, affiliations, and relevance to our platform.

• Develop attendee VIP target lists for Bespoke and Public Programme events/

• Develop a database of potential speakers and attendees for Circle events.

• Engage with senior executives, thought leaders, and industry influencers to secure participation.

• Coordinate outreach efforts to invite and confirm high-profile stakeholders for events.

• Work closely with the events and marketing teams to ensure stakeholder engagement strategies align with business goals.

Lead Identification & Outreach

• Use sales tools and AI-powered platforms to identify and qualify new leads.

• Conduct market research to source key contacts and decision-makers within target organisations.

• Assist in the development and execution of targeted outreach campaigns.

• Track and manage lead interactions to ensure timely follow-ups and engagement.

CRM & Data Management

• Maintain and update CRM records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Analyse sales data to generate insights and reports for sales performance tracking.

• Automate data entry and reporting processes to improve efficiency.

• Assist in segmenting and categorising leads for personalised sales strategies.

Sales Automation & AI Utilisation

• Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance prospecting and engagement efforts.

• Implement automation workflows to streamline sales operations.

• Monitor and optimise AI-generated insights to refine outreach strategies.

Administrative & Sales Support

• Support sales team members in managing client relationships and communications.

• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and reports for prospective clients.

• Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with leads and partners.

• Ensure seamless integration of sales processes with marketing and events delivery teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Research, or related fields OR demonstrated academic qualification, experience/capability in the required skills.

• Proven experience in research, event management, or a related field is advantageous.

• Strong English communication, both written and oral.

• Proficiency in using CRM tools and data analytics software.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Advanced report and proposal writing skills.

• Understanding of markets, sectors and industries across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore is advantageous.
