Our Associate Director of Sales are responsible for the sales function by developing and driving strategies to ensure revenue targets are reached and the Nesuto brand is showcased at every opportunity.
This role will lead the sales function to drive business at Nesuto’s newest property and first one in the Victorian market. Nesuto Docklands opened in March 2023, it is a $100m new build apartment hotel, located in Melbourne’s The District Docklands. The 211 key Apartment Hotel features 58 x 1-bedroom, 20 x 2-bedroom and 133 premium apartments, and an onsite gym.

The role involves:
· Develop strategic sales plans for the Melbourne region and provide input into individual property business plans.
· Liaise with the Director of Sales and Director of Commercial on promotional strategies and marketing plans.
· Work closely with Director of Sales to investigate opportunities for Nesuto Docklands from other regions and the New Zealand market.
· Work with the entire Sales team across the group to ensure a harmonious and productive workplace with exceptional communication.
· Conduct market research and analysis including monitoring competitor activities to assist in market intelligence.
· Generate new business development, direct the tender process within the region and personally manage key accounts.
· Manage all TMC preferred partnership agreements to ensure production targets are met in line with contractual agreements.
· Target potential new key accounts for the property through TMC’s or direct with Procurement Managers.
· Manage all strategic partnerships & memberships to drive incremental revenue, develop new business opportunities and showcase the Nesuto brand.
· Drive new business from the neighbourhood prospecting programme, traditional hotel prospecting strategies (E.g.: arrivals list emails, cold calling, telesales etc) and following up leads provided by the operations team.
· Engage and educate property teams on sales strategies to generate additional market leads.
· Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Use extensive networks of contacts in the Corporate, Inbound, relocation, MICE and TMC sectors to develop new business opportunities and then repeat business.
· Represent Nesuto at various events, tradeshows, exhibitions & conferences.
· Develop relationships & partnerships with neighbouring venues to expand customer base for group accommodation opportunities.
· Conduct sales activity as required onsite, offsite & regionally with clients to drive increased sales volumes and brand awareness with an average of five documented site inspection and five documented client meetings weekly.
· Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.
· Investigate and address all feedback of key corporate accounts in a timely and professional manner and also conferring with team to resolve grievances.

Our ideal Associate Director of Sales will have:
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Sales and Marketing or similar
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar management level Sales role
