As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in Belmont and play a vital role in delivering successful, high-value construction projects.

About the Role

As a Contract Administrator, you'll be responsible for effectively managing and coordinating project contracts from start to finish. This is a key role where you'll support project teams by ensuring compliance, managing risk, and controlling costs and scope.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

l Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontractor agreements

l Manage and assess variations, progress claims, EOTs (extensions of time), and contractual notices

l Maintain contract registers and ensure documentation is accurately recorded and up to date

l Assist with cash flow forecasts, budget tracking, and cost-to-complete assessments

l Provide clear and timely contractual advice to project managers and stakeholders

l Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure contractual terms are met

l Review and process claims and make recommendations on contractual and financial matters

l Identify and mitigate risks in contracts, providing advice on key commercial terms

l Coordinating with internal teams (project managers, engineers, site staff) to ensure contractual requirements are met

l Stay informed of relevant legislative changes and industry standards impacting contracts

What You’ll Bring:

l 5+ years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry

l Proven track record working on medium to large-scale construction projects

l Solid understanding of project delivery, subcontractor engagement, and compliance processes

l Strong hands-on experience with progress claims, variations (VOs), EOTs, and cost control

l Confident in interpreting construction contracts, plans, scopes of work, and specifications

l Excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness, and stakeholder communication

l High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-driven mindset

l Proficiency in English is essential – strong communication (verbal and written) is critical

l Mandarin language skills will be a bonus due to our multicultural team and diverse client base.
