About the role
This is a full-time Contract Administrator role within the Administration & Office Support team at Dream City Cleaning & Housekeeping Services Pty Ltd, located in Canberra, ACT. As the Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the company's contractual agreements and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
What you'll be doing
Administering contracts in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures and updating contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information.
Proactively identifying and managing contract risks to meet the organisation’s obligation and achieve planned contract outcomes.
Developing, reviewing and negotiating contract variation daily and as required.
Negotiating, reviewing and updating existing contract terms with internal and external business partners.
Explaining contract terms and conditions to related parties to ensure understanding and compliance with company standards.
Managing staff to ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
Coordinating with legal, finance and other functions to support the contract process.
Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
Ensure all cleaning contracts are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining proper documentation for all cleaning activities.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Contract Administrator or similar role, preferably within the Contracts Administration sub-industry
Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation, and dispute resolution principles
Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse complex contractual information
Proficient in the use of contract management software and MS Office suite
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Tertiary qualification in Law, Business or a related field would be highly desirable
