Internal Technical Sales Representative
Location: Seventeen Mile Rocks
Salary: $85k - $100k + Super + Commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

About the Role
We are looking for Internal Technical Sales Representative to join our team, you will provide technical sales support and exceptional customer service for our range of drilling products.
You will manage and grow existing client relationships, re-engage inactive accounts, and support the wider sales team in driving business growth.
This is a great opportunity for someone with technical sales experience—especially within the mining, drilling or Tunneling sectors—or a Driller or Offsider looking to transition into an internal sales role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients via phone to negotiate and manage sales opportunities
  • Maintain and expand relationships with both new and existing customers
  • Provide technical advice and support across product lines including BETEK, Sysbohr, and Robit drilling bits
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and act as the main point of contact for product inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records in company systems (Exo MYOB), follow up on quotes, and prepare detailed sales and client reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams including dispatch, production, and sales to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Attend industry events when required


About You

  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in drilling, mining, or Tunneling
  • Alternatively, experience as a Driller or Offsider looking for a career shift into a technical sales environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A customer-first approach with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working in a phone-based sales environment
  • High attention to detail and proficiency with CRM or ERP systems
  • Genuine career progression opportunity into a Business Development Manager role for high performers
