People & Culture Manager – Parental Leave Cover on a 12 month FTC.

A mid-tier Financial Services firm, based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, are seeking the expertise of an experienced and well rounded People and Culture Manager to join their high performing team on a 12 month FTC. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll drive HR strategy, employee engagement, and culture across the business.

About the Role:

• Lead and implement People & Culture strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee HR policies, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a small People & Culture team.
• Partner with senior leaders to enhance workplace culture and talent retention.
• Ensure compliance with HR legislation and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a similar role with expertise in awards, payroll, and HR strategy.
• Strong background in HR leadership, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry (finance experience a plus).
• Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field.

Ideally you will come from a financial or professional services background. We're looking for a strong all rounder, who has exceptional relationship management capabilities.
