The Client:

My client is a hugely successful, Melbourne based Fund Manager with some of the best performing funds in Australia. They have grown rapidly over the last ten years and have an extremely low turnover due to the effort that they put into ensuring that all staff feel empowered and are treated fairly and with respect.

This is a dynamic role which will see you perform a dual function as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager. You will have regular contact with clients and will be part of a business which is dedicated to excellence and who values it's employees and treats everyone as equals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive assistance to senior management in the form of diary management, travel bookings and arranging meetings.
  • Organise travel arrangements and corporate events, including boardroom lunches and client-facing functions.
  • Ensure smooth office operations, including managing meeting logistics, resources and the general presentation of the office.
  • Manage staff onboarding and offboarding processes, and scheduling inductions.
  • Provide a professional, friendly and welcoming style of service to clients at all times.
  • Manage and answer all queries via phone or email in a timely manner.
  • Provide all round office support not limited to lunch orders, morning coffees, ordering supplies and stocking kitchens and fridges.

Experience Required:

  • Experience working as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager within a professional and fast paced environment.
  • Highly developed organisational and time-management skills with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently and independently.
  • Enthusiasm and an ability to demonstrate proactiveness and efficiency with workload.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • A team first attitude and a willingness to help in general tasks across the business as and when they arise.
