About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Insurance HQ as an Insurance Broker & Manager. This full-time role will see you leading a small team of remote brokers and support staff to provide expert insurance advice to a national client base.

What you'll be doing

Managing a portfolio of SME clients providing advice on their insurance needs and ongoing policy management

Dealing with new client enquiries, along with developing additional opportunities

Managing a small team, ensuring high levels of customer service and compliance

Providing technical advice and guidance to staff as required

Dealing with client issues should they arise

Building on existing procedures to improve customer service and efficiency

Contributing to the overall growth and development of the broking business

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (8+ years) as an insurance broker, with a proven track record of managing a team

Strong technical knowledge of the insurance industry, including relevant regulations, products and market conditions

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients

A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Outstanding grasp of sales and marketing strategies evident by strong sales and growth in previous roles

Minimum Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) Tier 1

Australian based. Preferably in Brisbane / Gold Coast region
