About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Broker Assistant to join our small but dynamic team at C & M Insurance Brokers' in Toowong Queensland. This full-time/part time position with flexible hours available is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for the insurance industry to contribute to the success of our growing brokerage.

What you'll be doing

Providing administrative support to our experienced insurance brokers, including file maintenance, policy administration and client communication

Assisting with the preparation of insurance submissions, claims documentation and other client-related tasks

Liaising with insurance underwriters, carriers and other industry stakeholders to ensure the smooth processing of client requests

Conducting research and analysis to support the brokers in identifying the most suitable insurance solutions for our clients

Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our brokerage operations

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and industry partners

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure

Proficiency in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office suite including sunrise

A keen interest in the insurance industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
