Join a leading Telecommunications organisation as a Technical Project Manager in their data security program – with key projects about to go live across multiple sites.

This role is working on managing around 3-5 security projects at any one time across NDR/Network Taps, Firewall replacements and DDOS. In this role you will manage the projects, change management, operational onboarding and acceptance, design and testing process management including documentation.

This is a hybrid role based in North Sydney with a couple days a week in the Macquarie Park campus.

Responsibilities:

• Broad technical understanding of IT environments – such as server or cloud infrastructure, applications and networking.
• Experience with a managed services or system integrator environment, in particular, Change Management controls and procedures
• Lead a diverse technical and business focused team in the deployment of security upgrades across all their data centres
• Lead a team of technical resources in both an agile and waterfall way
• Implement upgrades at data centres one by one learning from any issues and ensuring they are rectified prior to the following data centres upgrade

To be successful in this position you will:

• Have experience as a technology project manager
• Worked across security projects
• A track record of delivering projects on time and on budget, being able to adapt to utilise a variety of project management tools and methodologies
• Experience in achieving project plans
