About the Role
Gybe Consulting are partnering with a global player in Building products for a results-driven Technical Sales Manager for Sydney and surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record in technical sales across building, drilling, environmental or water products. This role will be a key contributor to business growth within the territory.

Your Role in the Action
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and managing key customer projects. You’ll apply your technical expertise to engage customers, provide tailored solutions and help manage ongoing projects. Role Responsibilities

Be the Go-To Expert for Clients

  • Provide expert technical advice, application guidance, and installation solutions to customers across the region.
  • Tackle complex product and installation queries, ensuring customers receive prompt and accurate support.
  • Manage warranty inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless project completion

Own the Project Pipeline & Customer Experience

  • Take charge of live projects, tracking progress, updating customer files, and ensuring the highest level of service.
  • Perform site inspections, provide hands-on support, and act as a trusted advisor to contractors, consultants, and applicators.
  • Investigate and resolve warranty claims, from gathering information to overseeing solution implementation.

Collaborate & Drive Sales Success

  • Work closely with the sales team to provide tailored solutions that align with customer needs and sales objectives.
  • Develop training materials for applicator programs, establishing your role as a key player in growing the business.
  • Conduct site reviews and field visits, identifying opportunities to expand product usage and meet customer demands.

Reporting & Administration

  • Stay organized with project documentation, track live projects, and provide detailed reports on progress and results.
  • Maintain accurate project records, manage accounts, and assist with purchase orders and administrative tasks.

Candidate Attributes
A degree in construction management, civil/industrial/environmental engineering, architecture, geology, or a related technical field would be of benefit.

Relevant experience is highly valued and industry-specific backgrounds are welcomed.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of customers and internal teams.
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical background or knowledge in waterproofing, environmental products, or building materials is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.

Additional Requirements
• Ability to travel within NSW/ACT, with occasional interstate travel.
• Must have a home office setup
