About the role:

The Senior Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, high-performance banking solutions. This role involves developing microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java, and providing leadership and mentorship to teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance banking solutions
• Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java
• Provide leadership, governance, and quality assurance
• Solve complex technical problems with excellent analysis and design skills
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo) and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of React JS, Redux, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is desirable
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring and performance tuning
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

Required Experience:

Technical Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in system architecture and design of banking systems, credit card platforms, and API/UI solutions
• Expertise in developing microservices and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Java
• Strong architectural skills for scalable, secure, high-performance solutions
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of React JS, Redux, Node JS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with Splunk for monitoring and performance tuning

Additional Skills:

• Excellent analysis and design skills
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

What's on offer?

This contract is available for an initial 6 month term with multiple 6 month extensions.

Located in Sydney, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days p/week in office.
