Are you an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in cloud transformation, digital innovation and enterprise-scale architecture design?

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government department to secure a highly capable Enterprise Architect to support the delivery of mission-critical ICT projects, including artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. As an early adopter of cloud services — particularly Microsoft Azure and O365 — the department is actively modernising its systems and decommissioning legacy environments.

This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative, future-focused team shaping the department’s ICT strategy and aligning solutions with whole-of-government priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise architectures that support departmental business needs and align with broader government direction
• Collaborate with solution architects to guide program vision and define scalable, secure ICT solutions
• Engage with architectural governance forums and key stakeholders across the enterprise
• Provide expert input into the department’s ICT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, including roadmaps, patterns, frameworks and architecture artefacts.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in enterprise architecture, with a proven ability to lead solution, data, infrastructure and application design.
• Strong experience defining ICT solutions aligned with future-state architecture, promoting reuse and standardisation.
• Demonstrated ability to scope and communicate enterprise architecture visions across stakeholders and governance forums.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem solving, research, analysis and time management skills.
• Familiarity with the DTA Digital Service Standard and Australian Signals Directorate’s ISM.
• Experience in digital transformation, cost modelling, cross-agency collaboration and adoption of whole-of-government capabilities.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and modern approaches, particularly within Microsoft Azure and M365 ecosystems.
