Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking Multiple Solution Architects for a longterm contract opportunity, due to commence in May 2025. The Solution Architects will primarily focus on supporting a major multi-year program aimed at modernising and securing the department's technology infrastructure, applications, and service delivery.

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Design and implement enterprise-level solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategy;
• Lead modernisation efforts for legacy applications, including migration, decommissioning, and replacement strategies;
• Ensure seamless integration of CI/CD pipelines, embedding automated testing, security best practices, and quality assurance processes;
• Oversee compliance with architectural governance frameworks, security standards (e.g., Essential 8, SSP), and regulatory requirements;
• Assess and recommend cloud adoption strategies, SaaS solutions, and on-premise-to-cloud transitions.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in a Solution Architect or similar role;
• Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or hybrid) and application migration strategies;
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, quality assurance, and security integration;
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe Agile, Systems Engineering Lifecycle);
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements, including failover capability and Essential 8 controls.
