About the Position

With our project workload reaching a higher level, as well as branching further into new sectors - an exciting and multifaceted role has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join the team and commence work immediately.

Based from our Traralgon Depot, you are responsible for the execution of all production based activities, with focus on team culture, resource utilisation, quality assurance, asset management, continuous improvement and most importantly - safe work practices.

About You

You are an experienced Production Supervisor with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading teams in a fabrication environment. You are hands on, lead by example and are able to engage and influence a team and support them in achieving their goals. You are committed in driving a strong safety and quality culture and have a great eye for detail. You're passionate about what you do and look to always deliver great outcomes, whilst identifying areas for continuous improvement. You are well organised, plan for success and able to seamlessly handle the physical aspects of delivering a project - as well as the ‘behind-the-scenes’ aspects (supporting documentation, monitoring resource budgets etc.).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Relevant industry experience and tertiary qualification or trade background.
• Proficiency in liaising with and coordinating multiple parties in the day-to-day execution of production activities - with a focus on team culture.
• The ability to successfully lead a multi disciplined team across a diverse range of production activities (heavy fabrication to light gauge sheet metal work, cladding, assembly and installation work).
• Sound knowledge of common software packages including office suite.
• The ability to track and monitor resource budgets and actuals for production activities.
• Strong skills acquired from on-the-job production experience.

The remuneration package on offer will be commensurate with demonstrated skills and experience.
