About the role
Attitude is paramount. Engage with our customers. Get personal satisfaction from finding ways to delight them and make sure they return. Serve them promptly and provide an excellent first and last impression.
Autonomy. Your focus will be on traditional Hotel Front Office/Reception duties but you will become an accomplished revenue manager, barista and bar tender in time. The role spans processing accommodation reservations, checking people in/out, handling telephone enquiries, cash handling and balancing, coffee making, pouring a beer etc.

Core duties and responsibilities
Perform all duties associated with the operation of the front desk, including customer service, accurate processing of reservations, cash handling, check-in and check-outs, balancing at end of each shift, rate loading etc
Maintain the hotel property management system (RMS) and documentation efficiently.
Serve customers and ensure guest satisfaction is maximised
Maintain a great working relationship with colleagues
Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Skills and Experience
Great customer service skills and a positive outlook are paramount
12 months experience in a HOTEL front office environment with a working knowledge of either Opera or RMS is preferred.
RSA qualified & coffee trained would be a bonus
Own transport & ability to work shifts on a flexible, rotating roster (includes weekends, late nights, early mornings, public holidays.....this role is in hospitality)
Previous experience in a Food and Beverage outlet, bar or restaurant is an advantage
