Communications & Events Coordinator

We are working with a creative and collaborative team that produces digital resources such as magazines, videos, graphics, presentations, website content, and event promotions. They work closely with other teams across the business and support a wide range of projects.

We’re looking for a versatile team member who’s eager to learn, flexible, well-organised, and has strong communication and writing skills. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality content and events across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and create communications to promote digital products, events, website content, and key projects.
  • Coordinate newsletter content – collect and edit articles, manage approvals, and design the layout in the content management system.
  • Write and edit stories and blog posts for the website.
  • Support the setup and promotion of events and webinars – liaise with organisers, ensure consistent messaging, and update online platforms.
  • Manage post-event communications such as follow-up emails.
  • Create and schedule electronic direct mail (EDM) campaigns.
  • Proofread and provide feedback on written materials, including magazine content.
  • Track and report on promotional activities to help improve reach and engagement.
  • Assist with a range of admin tasks – booking travel, managing print production and stock, processing invoices, and organising logistics and catering for events.
  • Support livestreams, studio operations, and equipment management.
  • Submit promotional content to internal communication channels.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong coordination and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication – written, verbal, editing, and proofreading.
  • Collaborative, can-do attitude and the flexibility to support various tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Bonus Skills (nice to have)

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with EDM tools like Mailchimp or similar.
  • Understanding of promotions and social media channels.
