Thrust Maritime is a niche business that develops high integrity offshore lifting solutions and services the marine, oil and gas sectors with engineering works.

The core of our business is the design, development, manufacture and operation of launch and recovery systems (LARS) for subsea operations.

We are looking to talk to a Draftsperson who wants to be a core part of our team.

In this role you will be:

Completing accurate and detailed product models and drawing of mechanical components and assemblies

Site layouts for installation of equipment

Working with the engineering team to create inspection and test plans

Work closely with the production team to ensure items meet quality requirements

Develop BOMs, cut lists and other technical documentation

Designing, specifying and supporting the procurement/manufacture of mechanical components

Liaising and working closely with mechanical engineers, naval architects, electrical, fluid power and controls engineers

Assist in maintaining company compliancy documents to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.

Assist with making the company more efficient by streamlining/automating the above where possible.

Previous experience working with detailed mechanical, heavy fabrication drafting in Solidworks will be highly regarded.
