About the role

Luz Restaurant in Launceston, Tasmania is seeking passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Attendants to join our vibrant team. As a Waitstaff member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and seating customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanour

Taking food and drink orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen and bar staff

Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner

Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, including clearing and resetting tables

Providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials

Addressing any customer queries or concerns promptly and courteously

Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

An upbeat, friendly and professional attitude

Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairing
