Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong SQL and data mapping skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyse data requirements and maintain mapping rules based on business and systems requirements
• Understand complex processes and identify dependencies within multiple large data sets
• Proactively identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
• Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team.
• Supporting the full development lifecycle i.e. analysis, design, development and testing of solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Min 5 years’ experience as a Technical BA
• Strong skills in data analysis, modelling, and quality monitoring, with the ability to consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Experience working with and analysing large data sets to produce complex SQL queries and merging data from different sources
• Previous experience with data extraction, analysis, interpretation and scenario modelling across a number of data sources.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to interpret complex data requirements.
• Creating functional specifications for solutions.
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Service-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
