The Role

Reporting to the Head of Events, you will take ownership of assigned events, managing all logistical, operational and administrative aspects. From initial planning to post-event financial reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring each event is executed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

We are seeking a team player, with a minimum of one year's experience as an Event Manager, or an Event Coordinator with a minimum of two year's experience looking for the opportunity to take that next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of assigned events, from initial brief to post-event reporting.

Supply management to ensure procurement and delivery timeframes are met.

Creation of detailed event plans including logistics, resourcing and operational timelines.

Development of alcohol management plans to meet regulatory requirements.

Application and management of liquor licenses.

On-site event operations, including bump-in and bump-out.

Accurate management of event expenses, including P & L analysis.

Client and stakeholder management with clear and consistent communication throughout the event lifecycle.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be organised and detail-oriented, managing complex event logistics.

Proactive in anticipating challenges, take initiative and think on your feet.

Can handle a high work-load environment with multiple and competing priorities

Build constructive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Take ownership of event outcomes whilst maintaining financial and operational responsibilities.

Be a problem-solver throughout event planning and on-site execution.

Have knowledge of alcohol management plans, liquor licensing processes and event compliance

Be proficient in MS Office and event management software.
