Due to recent acquisitions, they are looking for a talented Payroll Officer to join the business.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and process payroll for all employees (circa 300 office-based employees) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of wages, salaries, and other compensation.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll reports.
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with accounting duties such as reconciling accounts, month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations (15% of time)
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll and accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer in a similar role with an interest in expanding your remit to including Accounting duties (for 15% of time).
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and payroll systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
