Are you a detail-oriented Payroll and Administration Officer with experience in payroll processing and compliance? Join our close-knit team in the heart of the city and take ownership of payroll operations for our network of pharmacies across Sydney. This full-time role offers a dynamic mix of payroll processing (3 days) and Office Administration (2 days), ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll, payslips, STP files, and payroll reports
- Enter new starters into the payroll system and maintain employee records
- Administer the payroll inbox, actioning requests and queries efficiently
- Process and submit PAYG tax, payroll tax (monthly), and superannuation (quarterly)
- Manage leave calculations, terminations, parental leave, long service leave, and payroll deductions
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, industry awards, NES, and company policies
- Stay updated on payroll legislation and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with HR & Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
- Provide Office Administration support to other departments and team members as needed to ensure smooth business operations
About You:
- Minimum 2+ years in payroll processing and administration within Australia
- Experience with any payroll system (ClockOn preferred, but training provided)
- High level of accuracy in payroll calculations, reporting, and office administration
- Ability to troubleshoot payroll issues efficiently
- Willingness to support other departments and contribute to team success
- Ability to balance payroll duties with office administrative responsibilities
- Professional and clear liaison with internal and external stakeholders
