Are you a detail-oriented Payroll and Administration Officer with experience in payroll processing and compliance? Join our close-knit team in the heart of the city and take ownership of payroll operations for our network of pharmacies across Sydney. This full-time role offers a dynamic mix of payroll processing (3 days) and Office Administration (2 days), ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll, payslips, STP files, and payroll reports
  • Enter new starters into the payroll system and maintain employee records
  • Administer the payroll inbox, actioning requests and queries efficiently
  • Process and submit PAYG tax, payroll tax (monthly), and superannuation (quarterly)
  • Manage leave calculations, terminations, parental leave, long service leave, and payroll deductions
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work, industry awards, NES, and company policies
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with HR & Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
  • Provide Office Administration support to other departments and team members as needed to ensure smooth business operations

About You:

  • Minimum 2+ years in payroll processing and administration within Australia
  • Experience with any payroll system (ClockOn preferred, but training provided)
  • High level of accuracy in payroll calculations, reporting, and office administration
  • Ability to troubleshoot payroll issues efficiently
  • Willingness to support other departments and contribute to team success
  • Ability to balance payroll duties with office administrative responsibilities
  • Professional and clear liaison with internal and external stakeholders
