Our client is a highly reputable Top 50 National Accounting practice located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This firm has had a presence in the local market for a number of years and deliver accounting compliance and advisory services to privately owned businesses up to $500million annual turnover.

The Opportunity

This position is suitable for an experienced Senior Accountant who is ready for the next progression or an existing Assistant Manager / Supervisor seeking a new environment with a clearer career pathway.

This is a crucial hire to the firm as this individual will play an integral part in the firm’s on-going success and growth in the market. Coming into an established client base, you will have a strong Business Services/Advisory background and be able to hit the ground running with the firm’s existing clients.

Responsibilities

Providing compliance and advisory services to High-Net-Worth Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts.

Giving written practical advice regarding complex tax issues

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients

Managing junior staff members and delegating work as required.

Requirements

CA/CPA qualified.

Experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a boutique, mid-tier or Big 4 Private Clients group.

Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting

Strong communication skills

Eligible to work in Australia.
