My client is an established accounting firm who are seeking a Business Services Supervisor to join their Business Services and Advisory practice. They service a diverse range of clients from start-ups, family groups and SMEs

Some responsibilities include:

Managing a fee base of approximately $500k

Overseeing a team of 3 accountants consisting of Intermediates and Graduates

Preparation and review of income tax returns for all entities and all other compliance requirements

Finalising complex financial accounts

Preparation and analysis of management reports

Provision of tax advice on issues such as FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, PSI and more

Tax planning and forecasting, succession planning and restructuring advice

Train, mentor and delegate to team members

Setting and monitoring KPIs, WIP, productivity, budgets and deadlines

Providing support to Principal in relation to client management and achieving team objectives

Applicants:

Experience working in a Heavy Senior or Supervisor capacity in Business Services/Tax

Approximately 6+ years’ experience in public practice

CA/CPA qualified

Strong technical understanding of SME matters and able to advise on related issues

Demonstrated experience managing own clients and a team

Experience with international tax highly regarded but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Solutions-oriented mindset and able to articulate information of varying complexities to stakeholders effectively
