Working as a Collections Officer, you will be at the front line of our operations with the responsibility of achieving positive outcomes for one of our major client portfolios. You will ensure high levels of customer service to maximise the timely recovery of debts.

In this role, you will;

Manage Inbound & Outbound calls to establish connections with customers

Negotiate the collections of outstanding funds

Action incoming correspondence via email and mail

Make detailed and accurate file action notes for all customer interactions

Provide a high level of customer service in line with client requirements

What You'll Be Doing:

Handling inbound & outbound calls with professionalism and empathy

Providing exceptional customer service while managing collections processes

Conducting skip tracing and investigative work to locate customers

Managing client portfolios and updating account information

Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth operations

Performing general administrative tasks as needed

Achieving KPIs through a dialer reporting system

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a collections, credit, or customer service role

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

High attention to detail

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Familiar with ASIC Collection Debt Guidelines

Commercial collections experience (ideal but not essential)
