The Role

Based at reception, this is a dual-function role that combines front-desk administration with payroll support.
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and a vital support for the payroll team and General Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing incoming calls and greeting visitors at reception
  • Organising workplace events and responding to staff or third-party queries
  • Assisting with weekly payroll processing (supporting a 900-strong workforce)
  • Providing personal assistant support to the General Manager
  • Completing various ad hoc tasks as required by management

You’ll be trained and supported by a friendly payroll team and have the chance to develop your skills with on-the-job learning and career progression pathways.

About You

You’re a detail-oriented and people-focused professional with a flair for organisation and a willingness to learn. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy variety in your workday.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:

  • Strong customer service skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Excellent attention to detail and good numerical/data entry skills
  • Effective time management and organisational abilities
  • Confident working both independently and within a small team
  • Flexible and easy-going, with the right cultural fit for a diverse workplace

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in reception or payroll
