Pakton Technologies are looking for an Office and HR administrator in our Deception Bay office to assist with general day to day administration tasks, HR matters and processing incoming sales orders. The role will include:
- Provide secretarial and administration support to the Directors
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries, providing accurate advice on recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and more.
- Facilitate induction, onboarding, and probation processes
- Monitor HR data, maintain accurate registers, and deliver insightful workforce reporting.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies, including recruitment, performance management, and change initiatives.
- processing of payroll in MYOB
- Updating of company Policy and Procedure documents and keeping this compliant and updated
- Monitoring and managing the leave balances and staff accruals
- Health and safety supervision, checks and compliance
- Statutory submissions and certification maintained
- Day-to-day administrative duties as required
- Assisting with preparation of formal documents such as customer and supplier contracts
- Answering incoming calls
- Assisting with diary management
- Processing online orders and invoicing
- Management of Staff Club and organising events
- Liaising with vendors and suppliers for the office such as utilities, phones, maintenance scheduling etc
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will require:
- Previous experience in a busy administrative role
- Understands HR Processes: You bring knowledge of HR legislation, policies, payroll and procedures, and can apply it effectively to deliver results
- Able to work autonomously and have good attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with MYOB an advantage
- A team player with great communication/ phone skills both with other staff members and customers.
- Great time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Previous experience with HR desirable.
This is a Full-time position, 38 hours per week Monday – Friday.
