The Role
As a Service technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our commercial clients to manage their assets and deliver outcomes that are beneficial to the client and their equipment. Your expertise, leadership and positive attitude will help us maintain and enhance our reputation for excellence in the industry.
Working within a team is vitally important as we develop apprentices and offer guidance and support to other team members where needed. Communication with clients and team members is critically important. We currently use Simpro as our job management software which is the backbone of our reporting system. Being able to write descriptive job reports with work times is a key process of the company. Knowledge of air conditioning in the commercial sector is fundamental to this role.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance/Service - Completing maintenance, service calls and repairs
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to resolve problems efficiently
* Fault reporting - Reporting faults and sourcing part quotes for quoting process
* Mentoring leadership - Supporting team members and providing guidance where required
* Manage customer relationships, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues as they arise
* Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Requirements
* Experience as a qualified air conditioning and refrigeration technician
* Strong technical knowledge of Air conditioning and Mechanical services systems
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Proficient computer and software skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and logically
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites in the Melbourne area
* Refrigerant Handling License, restricted electrical license and other relevant certifications i.e white card, police check and WWC
