About the role

We are seeking a part-time Conveyancing Assistant to join our dynamic team at CVC law and Conveyancing in Wollongong, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and legal support to our experienced conveyancing lawyers and Conveyancers , ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of property transactions.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and finalising conveyancing documentation, such as contracts, transfers, and settlement statements

Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process

Conducting property searches and title investigations

Organising and maintaining client files and records

Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team

Assisting with the settlement of property transactions

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal administrative role, preferably in a law firm or property-related industry

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach

Knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures in New South Wales
