About the role

Sargent Law is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our dynamic team in Caloundra, Queensland. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating property transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a thriving legal environment and contribute to the growth of our respected firm.

We work with a mix of commercial and residential conveyancing and training will be given if you need assistance with commercial.

What you'll be doing

Conducting property title and tenure searches, and preparing all necessary conveyancing documentation

Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to coordinate the conveyancing process

Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Providing exceptional customer service and guiding clients through the often complex conveyancing process

Maintaining accurate records and managing a diverse caseload with a high level of attention to detail

Collaborating with the legal team to support the broader objectives of the firm

Working closely with two solicitors.

What we're looking for

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a conveyancing or property law role

Excellent knowledge of property law, including legislation, regulations, and industry best practices

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner

Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively

Proficient in the use of conveyancing software and technology

A commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining the highest ethical standards
