About Us:

At Animal Aid, we pride ourselves on providing compassionate care to animals in our community. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Animal Attendant to join our Welfare Cattery Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Animal Care and Husbandry: Utilise your proven experience in animal husbandry and handling, preferably in a shelter or veterinary environment, to provide exceptional care to our animals.

Customer Service: Interact with our community with warmth and professionalism, assisting with animal admissions, adoptions, and reclaims.

Health Monitoring: Monitor and report on the health and well-being of our animals, ensuring their welfare is prioritised.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation within our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our animals and visitors.

Team Support: Collaborate with our dedicated team and volunteers to achieve our mission of helping animals in need.

Requirements:

Passion for Animals: Genuine enthusiasm and compassion for helping both people and animals.

Animal Experience: Proven experience in animal husbandry and handling, preferably in a welfare shelter or veterinary setting.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer Service: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and adapt to changing priorities as needed.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in animal care will be highly regarded.
