Are you passionate about dogs and ready to take charge of a dynamic and growing doggy daycare centre? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced FULL-TIME Operational Manager to join our lovely team at Doggy Day Care Brisbane!

Key Responsibilities:

Doggy Day Care Teacher: Complete duties as a Doggy Day Care Teacher when necessary.

Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of day care teachers, ensuring a high standard of care, safety, and customer service.

Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of the daycare, including scheduling, staffing, social media, and inventory management.

Customer Service: Provide excellent service to our pawrents, handling inquiries, complaint management, and addressing concerns promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with pawrents and fur kids.

Health & Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed, and that the centre is always clean, safe, and welcoming.

Training & Development: Train and develop team members.

Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and ensuring cost-effective operations.

Marketing & Community Engagement: Help promote the daycare to potential clients through local marketing efforts and community engagement.

Problem-Solving: Handle any operational issues that may arise with a positive and proactive approach.

Requirements:

Proven experience in operational management in a dog day care centre.

Passion for animals, with a strong understanding of dog behavior and needs.

Qualification in Dog Training is HIGHLY preferred.

Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on, proactive approach.

Ability to manage time effectively, juggle multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure.

Previous experience in budgeting or financial management is a plus.

Available to work Mon-Fri between 6:00am and 6:30pm (shift based), and on some Saturdays (occasionally).
