About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team at South West Radiology across multiple sites in South West Sydney. As a full-time Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our radiology practice.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling incoming calls efficiently
• Completing patient registration and the collection of relevant information
• Coordinating with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
• Providing general administrative support as needed
  

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Medical/Radiology Receptionist or in a customer service-oriented role within the healthcare industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients and medical staff effectively
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
• Previous experience working with a radiology software is an advantage (ie. Kestral/Karisma)
• A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
• A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
• Arabic speaking/interpreting experience is highly regarded
• Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Willing to work rotational Saturdays 8:00am to 12:30pm (minimum once per month)
• Ability to work across all sites to cover sick & annual leave when needed
