Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage cancellations, and maintain an organised appointment calendar.

Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional manner, directing calls as needed.

Perform general clerical duties, including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence.

Process patient payments and manage billing questions with accuracy and professionalism.

Accurately enter patient information into electronic health records and maintain confidentiality at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience as a medical receptionist (Best Practice software preferred).

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks efficiently.

Knowledge of Medicare processes desirable.

High level of accuracy in data entry and handling sensitive patient information.

Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
