Are you a commercially minded finance leader looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, evolving industry? Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team in Sydney.

This is a pivotal role supporting their largest divisions, where you’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to provide insights, challenge thinking, and influence key decisions. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to operations, helping to drive profitability, enhance cost efficiencies, and enable data-led growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic business partnering with senior stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Leading financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling.
• Preparing and presenting meaningful performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Conducting investment analysis and business case development to support growth and innovation.
• Supporting cost optimisation, pricing strategy, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Driving process improvements and automation in financial decision-making and governance.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years' experience in finance, business partnering, or financial analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with tools such as Power BI, Dynamics 365 or similar is desirable.
• A commercial mindset with a passion for unlocking value through data and insight.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. CPA, CA or CFA qualifications preferred.
