Our client is a leading national organisation, operating at the heart of the retail and wholesale industry, is seeking a commercially savvy and proactive Senior Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing team, reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic insights, influence key decisions, and partner with stakeholders across a complex, customer-focused business.

Your key focus responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with operational leaders to provide insightful financial analysis and drive performance.
• Delivering accurate forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning support.
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Contributing to commercial projects, pricing strategies, and investment evaluations.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations.

Ideal profile

• CA/CPA qualified
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, ideally from a product-based business
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience within retail, wholesale, FMCG or a similar fast-paced industry preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
