Join a respected, family-owned professional consultancy with near 80 years of service to the Ipswich region in surveying and town planning.

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Business Administrator to support our team of Directors and professional staff with day-to-day operations.

We are a relatively young team of enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced professionals who are seeking a business admin team member to help us be the best we can be.

About the Role

As our new Business Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for clients and colleagues alike. Your day will include:

Answering and directing phone calls with confidence and professionalism

Providing administrative support to the Directors and professional team

Managing correspondence, filing, document preparation, and client follow-ups

Assisting with project tracking and office coordination

Helping ensure the office runs smoothly day-to-day

This is a key support role in a small, friendly team where your contribution will be genuinely valued.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Confident, well-spoken, and friendly on the phone

Organised, reliable, and proactive in their approach

Comfortable working with a small team in a professional environment

Eager to assist and learn from experienced colleagues

Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and open to learning new systems

Previous experience in professional services or administration is preferred, but not essential if you’re a quick learner with the right attitude.
