Based in the heart of Melbourne’s city centre, our client is keen to appoint a personable, dedicated and client-focused Project Architect who will fit in well with their easy-going, talented team of stars.

A design-led practice with studios in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, they pride themselves on creating people-focused architecture that enrich the human experience.

With projects spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, they currently have a $100M multi residential project underway which requires specialist expertise to assist throughout design, documentation and delivery.

The ideal candidate will employ a growth mindset, be comfortable working directly with clients, capable of developing the skills to manage complex mid to large scale projects from start to finish and possesses a collaborative approach that enhances the team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• M.Arch or equivalent architecture qualification
• Registered Architect in Victoria
• 5+ years of post-graduate experience with a strong focus on residential projects
• Confidence in managing projects with precision and attention to detail
• Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office Suite
• Client interface, managing sub consultants, liaising with local Councils
• Creative vision balanced with practical execution skills
• Able to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and colleagues
• Sound understanding of local codes and statutory requirements
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and client management skills
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Time management skills – able to work to deadlines, prioritise and switch tasks

This is a broadly based role but you will be required to prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications and documentation using Revit, so a willingness to remain hands-on is essential.

Salary expectations will be based on your level of experience and is anticipated in the range of $85,000 - $110,000 plus Superannuation.
