We’re partnering with a national leader in industrial energy solutions, and they’re looking for a Business Development Engineer to grow their Mining & Industrial client base across WA and SA.
They’ve got decades of credibility, cutting-edge products (think off-grid solar and automation tech), and the smarts to back it all up. They just need you.
YOUR NEW PATCH
You’ll be the go-to for all things Mining & Industrial across WA and SA, backed by a national team of engineers, tech specialists and project professionals. Your week might look like:
- Heading out to a regional mine to build on an existing relationship with new electrical technology
- Helping a customer transition from diesel generators to a solar hybrid setup
- Mapping out an electrical protection and control system upgrade for a Tier 1 mining operation
- Working with technology managers to customise and quote a tailored solution
- Introducing existing clients to new offerings you know will lift performance
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’ve got a solid understanding of power systems, automation or electrical control systems—and you know how to sell them. Maybe you’re a technical sales rep or engineer ready for a more client-focused role. Maybe you’re already hitting your sales targets and looking for a better product suite and more freedom. Either way, you’re:
- Curious and consultative – you ask the right questions and craft the right solutions
- A natural relationship builder – you stay visible and add value
- Commercially sharp – you can spot an opportunity a mile away
- Comfortable covering WA, NT and SA – this is your territory
- Familiar with the Mining/Industrial landscape – ideally with a network to match

- A solid package: $130–150K base + super + car allowance + uncapped bonus. excellent performers can achieve a package circa $200k
