About Us
Dream Maker Community Services is a values-driven NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports that empower individuals with disabilities to live meaningful lives. We are seeking a highly capable and qualified Human Resources Manager on a permanent full-time basis to lead and strengthen our HR function in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment. This role requires presence at our Pendle Hill office, and there is no option for working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with employment legislation and organisational objectives.
Oversee Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes and develop effective talent acquisition strategies.
Manage performance management systems, workforce planning, and employee relations.
Ensure compliance with the SCHADS Award and provide accurate HR advice to staff and management.
Coordinate staff development and training programs that support professional growth.
Supervise payroll processing in accordance with award obligations, using Xero.
Provide HR advice and operational support to senior management to guide strategic decision-making.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Manager in the NDIS sector with proven knowledge and application of the SCHADS Award.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Experience managing a team of at least 3 employees.
Experience working in a recruitment agency environment.
Experience as a trainer and possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
Experience processing payroll and Xero certification.
This role requires presence at our Pendle Hill office, and there is no option for working from home.
Highly Regarded
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
