About the Role:

The role is critical in building our capability to take up forthcoming additional commercial opportunities, including supporting the development of systems, processes and personnel in the next growth phase of our organisation

As the Human Resources & Corporate Services Administrator, you will play a key role in driving our HR strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and policies.

You’ll partner with leaders across the organisation to enhance workforce performance, enable our business growth, and champion our organisational values.

This exciting opportunity interfaces keenly with the State’s dynamic mining industry and will require some time spent in the field visiting mine sites for short durations.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

Drive HR processes, including implementation and maintenance of policies & procedures that are compliant with legislation.

Administer recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes.

Oversee employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Support effective practice in performance management, disciplinary matters and fitness for duty assessments.

Drive the continuous improvement of administration processes.

Lead and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Provide guidance to leadership on HR policies and practices.

Act as Return-to-Work Co-ordinator (under RTWSA legislation) for employees across company entities.

Administration:

Oversee office administration matters in conjunction with the General Manager – Operations, including day to day supervision of the Administration Support Officer.

Assist with the continuous improvement of administration processes for AMY Nominees, including liaise with external Finance providers (MLCS) re payroll queries, leave and rate calculations.

Ensure that corporate meetings receive appropriate support.

Contract Compliance:

Be responsible for implementing, reviewing, and complying with the HSEQ Management regime.

Ensure all compliance and reporting requirements are met in line with internal and external expectations.

Develop and implement processes for contract reviews, approvals, and renewals.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues promptly.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

Proven experience in a Human Resources management or leadership position.

Strong understanding of HR practices, and workplace laws.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Strategic thinking with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

A passion for employee engagement, diversity, and wellbeing.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management.
